Description
Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake is a simple, creamy dessert with layers of strawberry pie filling, cream cheese, and yellow cake mix. Easy to make and perfect for family gatherings or casual weeknight indulgence.
Ingredients
Ingredients:
1 can (21 oz) strawberry pie filling
1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
½ cup granulated sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Layer the Strawberries: Evenly spoon strawberry pie filling into the bottom of the dish.
Prepare Cheesecake Layer: Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Drop spoonfuls over the strawberry layer and gently spread.
Add Cake Mix: Sprinkle yellow cake mix evenly over the cream cheese and strawberries without stirring.
Pour Butter: Drizzle melted butter over the top to cover most areas.
Bake: Bake 40–45 minutes until the top is golden and edges bubble.
Cool: Let cake rest 15 minutes to firm up before serving.
Serve: Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired.
Notes
Use softened cream cheese for a smooth layer.
Do not stir layers after adding cake mix; the layering creates the perfect texture.
Let the cake cool to make slicing easier.
Leftovers store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Experiment with other berries or add nuts for variety.
