Ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef (93% lean)
3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1 ¼ cups minced scallions (divided)
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons minced or grated fresh ginger
¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon sesame oil
Instructions
Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the white parts of the scallions, garlic, and ginger; cook until fragrant.
Stir in soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes; simmer until thickened.
Drizzle in sesame oil, mix, and remove from heat.
Serve over rice and top with scallions, sesame seeds, egg, kimchi, or other toppings.
Notes
For extra heat, add gochujang or chili oil.
Store beef and rice separately for best reheating results.
