Description
Halloween Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies are oversized, soft, and chewy cookies with a hidden Oreo center. Perfect for parties, bake sales, or family treat nights, these festive cookies combine chocolate chip dough and creamy Oreos for a fun and indulgent dessert.
Ingredients
1 cup (2 sticks) softened unsalted butter
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 package Double Stuff Oreo cookies
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients and mix until combined.
Fold in chocolate chips evenly.
Scoop 2 tablespoons of dough, flatten slightly, and place an Oreo in the center. Wrap dough completely around the Oreo and seal edges.
Place cookies 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
Bake 12-14 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.
Notes
Ensure the dough fully covers each Oreo to prevent leakage.
Chill dough for 20-30 minutes for easier handling and thicker cookies.
Do not overbake; cookies should be soft in the center.
Add festive sprinkles or drizzled chocolate for Halloween presentation.
Cookies can be frozen as dough balls or baked cookies for later enjoyment.
