Description
Halloween Double Chocolate Oreo Cookies with Marshmallow Spider Webs are fudgy, chocolate-packed cookies topped with gooey marshmallow spider webs—perfect for a fun and spooky Halloween treat.
Ingredients
½ cup (75 g) semisweet chocolate chips
2 oz (55 g) unsalted butter, cubed
2 large eggs
¼ cup (50 g) granulated sugar
½ cup (100 g) brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
½ cup (45 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
About 10 large marshmallows
Googly eyes (optional)
Instructions
Melt the butter and semisweet chocolate chips together until smooth. Allow to cool slightly.
In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy. Stir in the cooled chocolate mixture.
Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Fold into the wet ingredients until a dough forms.
Gently fold in crushed Oreos.
Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft. Cool completely.
Melt marshmallows and stretch them into thin strands to drape over the cooled cookies. Add optional googly eyes for decoration.
Notes
Let cookies cool completely before adding marshmallow webs to prevent melting.
Crush Oreos into chunks for better texture.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
For a gluten-free version, use 1:1 gluten-free flour and gluten-free sandwich cookies.
