Halloween Chocolate Chip Cookies are festive, chewy, and perfect for spooky celebrations. Packed with chocolate chips, sprinkles, and optional candy eyes, these cookies are easy to bake and loved by kids and adults alike.
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/3 cup granulated sugar (67 g)
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar (100 g)
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (186 g)
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1/2–3/4 cup Halloween sprinkles
Candy eyes (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until combined.
In another bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips and Halloween sprinkles.
Cover dough and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions, roll into balls, and arrange on baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
Cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheets, then transfer to a wire rack. Add candy eyes if desired.
Notes
Cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Dough can be frozen for longer storage.
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and allow to cool on the sheet.
