Ingredients
2 pounds sirloin or chuck steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
6 cloves garlic, minced
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
1/2 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: mushrooms, baby potatoes, red chili flakes, parsley
Instructions
Season cubed steak generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
(Optional) In a hot skillet, sear steak bites for 1 minute per side.
Transfer steak to the crockpot. Add minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and half the butter.
Cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until tender.
Stir in the remaining butter during the last 30 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with potatoes, rice, or bread.
Notes
Use sirloin for leaner, firmer bites or chuck roast for richer, more marbled texture.
Stew meat works too but may need extra cooking time.
Add veggies like mushrooms or baby potatoes for a complete one-pot meal.
Refrigerates well for 4 days; freezer-friendly up to 3 months.
