Ingredients
Honeydew Agua Fresca:
▢ 4 pounds honeydew, peeled and chopped
▢ 2 cups water
▢ 2 tablespoons pure cane sugar
▢ Juice from 1 lime
Watermelon Agua Fresca:
▢ 3 to 5 pounds seedless watermelon, cubed
▢ 1/2 cup water
▢ 2 tablespoons sugar (if needed)
Cantaloupe Agua Fresca:
▢ 4 pounds cantaloupe, seeds removed and chopped
▢ 2 cups water
▢ 2 tablespoons pure cane sugar
▢ Juice from 1 lime
Instructions
Place a fine mesh strainer over a large mixing bowl. Blend in batches if needed.
Add chopped fruit, water, sugar, and lime juice to a blender. Blend until smooth and fully pureed.
Pour the mixture into the strainer. Stir with a whisk or spoon to help it pass through.
Taste the juice. Add more sugar if needed, depending on the fruit’s ripeness.
Pour into a pitcher. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
Use the ripest fruit available for best flavor and natural sweetness.
